TikTok video maker
Your shop on TikTok, without filming a thing.
Upload a few photos, get a TikTok video with voiceover and captions. Watch yours before you sign up.
TikTok doesn't care how many followers you have. A good video from a shop nobody has heard of still gets shown to people nearby. The hard part is making one. ShopARoll takes the photos on your phone, writes a short script about them, records the voiceover, puts the captions on screen and gives you a vertical video ready to upload.
How it works
Photos in, TikTok out.
-
Step 1
your photos
Choose up to six photos
The job you finished this morning, the cake before it was cut, the queue on Saturday. Whatever is on your phone.
-
Step 2
Say what it's about
"Two for one on Tuesdays." One line is enough. We look at each photo, then write a script that fits them.
-
Step 3
the video
Watch it, then upload it
About fifteen seconds, voiced and captioned. Sign in with Google to download the file, then post it from the TikTok app.
A video, not a photo post
What TikTok's photo mode leaves out.
Upload photos to TikTok directly and you get a carousel people swipe through, with a song on top. That's fine for a holiday. For a shop, a video that talks does more.
-
Something said out loud
A script written from your photos and read by a natural voice. TikTok is a sound-on app, and a voice holds people longer than a song.
-
Captions, already timed
Every spoken word on screen, in step with the voice. No typing each line and dragging it into place.
-
An opening that stops the thumb
The first line is a question or a claim. Your shop's name comes at the end, once they're interested.
-
It plays on its own
Nobody has to swipe. Each photo moves, and is cut to the length of its line.
-
Vertical, 1080 × 1920
Full screen on TikTok. The same file works for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
-
A caption and hashtags
Once you're signed in, each video comes with a written caption and hashtags to paste into the post.
Try it now
Make a TikTok from your own photos.
No account needed to watch it. It takes a minute or two.
Free, with Google. Your video comes with you, and you can change any line, swap the voice or add music before you post it.
The other way
How to make a TikTok video with photos in the app.
TikTok can turn photos into a post by itself. Here's how, and where it stops.
- 1. Open TikTok and tap + at the bottom.
- 2. Tap Upload, switch to the photos tab and select your pictures in order.
- 3. Tap Next. TikTok makes a photo post by default, the kind people swipe through. Look for Switch to video mode if you want the photos to play as a video.
- 4. Tap Add sound to choose music. Business accounts can only use TikTok's commercial music library.
- 5. Add text with Aa, tap Next, write the caption and post.
You end up with pictures and a song. If you want the video to say something, with a voice and captions, that's the part ShopARoll does, and you upload the finished file at step 2.
Questions
Before you ask.
Is the TikTok video maker free?
Yes. Videos with voiceover, captions and pan-and-zoom are free, as many as you like. Credits are only for AI motion, which turns a still photo into real moving footage, and you get 20 to try when you sign up.
Do I need to give you my TikTok login?
No. You download the video and post it yourself from the TikTok app.
Is there a watermark?
No. The video signs off with your shop's name, not ours.
Can I add music?
Yes, once you're signed in you can put music under the voiceover. Or leave it off and add a sound in TikTok when you post.
Will the same video work on Instagram?
Yes, it's the same shape. See the Instagram Reels maker, or the photo to video maker for the general version.
